Insurance and Rates

What insurance do you take?

We are “Out of Network” for all insurances except for Medicare. We charge a flat fee for service. We do not bill your insurance, which allows us to charge a realistic price (approximately ½ to 2/3 of the local area charged price for Occupational Therapy). We do this because there are many people with high deductibles or no insurance that need advanced Occupational Therapy services. We think that those people should get the care they need at a reasonable price. Insurance companies dictate to Occupational Therapists what they will cover and how much they will pay. Health insurance does not equal health care, and we think you deserve a better option.

What about Medicare?

We will bill Medicare.  Any co-pays will be billed to you in accordance with the insurance policy.

What if I have insurance?

Call your insurance to check for your ‘out of network’ occupational therapy benefits prior to your first visit if you plan on submitting your claims to your insurance company.  Some insurance companies have separate ‘in network’ and ‘out of network’ deductibles. You will also want to check if your specific diagnosis is covered by your insurance.  After each visit you will be sent a receipt with all of the necessary information you need to submit for reimbursement.

How do I get reimbursed?

Check out your policy. We will provide you with any paperwork and the proper codes necessary, but you will need to send it in. The insurance company will pay you directly any money. They must not pay us as you have already done that, and we don’t need to get paid twice for the same service!

How much does a visit cost?
  • Initial Evaluation: $200 (travel fee included)
  • 60 minute visits: $160 (travel fee included)
  • Wellness packages available
How can I pay?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cash and checks. All payments are due at the time of service.

Do you charge any cancellation or no-show fees?

There will be a $50 fee applied if a visit is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or if a client fails to attend a scheduled appointment.
